Mount Sinai employees and patients referred to the Physiolab by Mount Sinai physicians receive a 20 percent discounted rate.
How does payment work?
Each evaluation is offered as a flat fee. The Physiolab offers payment options at the time of visit and can process credit cards.
Are the Physiolab services covered by insurance?
The Physiolab is an out-of-network provider and does not bill insurance directly. A superbill (an itemized receipt) can be provided for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
What age ranges does the Physiolab work with?
The Physiolab works with adults and can also work with children or adolescents with parental assent.
When should I seek Physiolab assessments?
You may consider requesting an assessment when you are experiencing:
- difficulties or challenges with weight loss or weight gain
- difficulties or challenges with maintaining exercise
- difficulties or challenges with maintaining a healthy diet
- other frustration with your overall feelings of health, wellness, mobility, fitness, or your relationship with food
We can arrange telehealth appointments for certain assessments, and we are accepting new patients.
How long does it take to see results?
The time to see results varies for everyone, as it depends on individual commitment to the program and individual response. The Physiolab team will work closely with you to ensure you achieve sustainable and long-lasting results.
Many of our patients experience improvements in physical fitness, reduced weight with improved body composition, enhanced strength and mobility, and better eating habits. Results vary based on individual health conditions and goals, but our personalized programming is designed to support sustainable lifestyle changes and to promote long-term wellness.
When does the Physiolab meet with patients?
