We know that healthy aging isn’t just about getting the best medical care. It’s also about helping people stay active and involved as long as they can to achieve vitality throughout their lives. At The Martha Stewart Center for Living at Mount Sinai, we provide more than great medical care – we offer integrative health programs as an adjunct to traditional clinical interventions including Tai Chi, yoga, Pilates, mindfulness-based stress reduction and exercises for balance and building strong bones.

These therapies have a somewhat different philosophical basis according to Patricia Bloom, MD, Director of Integrative Health. They’re designed to help patients utilize internal resources to aid in the healing process.

We also offer classes and lectures designed to help with memory retention and to keep your mind sharp as you age.
