Mount Sinai Doctors-Japanese Medical Practice

Tokio Marine Group-Affiliated Medical Institution

Mount Sinai Doctors-Japanese Medical Practice is a clinic operated by New York's largest medical institution, the Mount Sinai Health System. Established in 1990, we are a Tokio Marine Group-affiliated medical institution. We have been serving expatriates of Japanese companies and their families, as well as Japanese travelers, for more than 30 years. Our office staff speaks the Japanese language to better comfort our Japanese patients.

With more than 7,000 doctors, the Mount Sinai Health System provides comprehensive health care by utilizing our wide range of networks. We work closely with a variety of specialists across the Health System.

Japanese Medical Practice is the only Japanese-affiliated medical facility accredited by The Joint Commission (the recognized global leader for health care accreditation), guaranteeing that it provides safe and high-quality medical care.

How to Book an appointment

You can conveniently schedule an in-person or virtual appointment 24/7, by going to Find a Doctor or using the MyMountSinai app. To make an appointment by text message, text “Hello” to 474-624 on weekdays 9 am to 5 pm. You will be redirected to a secure chat portal where you can book an appointment without a phone call.

U.S. Medical Insurance Is Also Available

Japanese Medical Practice is one of the few Japanese-affiliated medical clinics that can accept most U.S. insurances, which enables you to be covered, even for items not covered by overseas travel insurance. This includes ongoing treatment of chronic illnesses, vaccinations, and annual physical exams, as well as other broad coverage, including follow-up visits after various exams. You can use this clinic with peace of mind, knowing that your U.S. insurance will pay.
