Home Peritoneal Dialysis Program

Mount Sinai's Home Peritoneal Dialysis Program offers patients the opportunity to conveniently perform dialysis therapy in the comfort of their own home. Our highly-skilled team, which includes clinicians specializing in peritoneal dialysis (PD) trains patients and their families, manages logistical coordination such as the delivery of supplies to your house, and connects patients with 24-hour help to answer any questions or concerns.

Our clinicians offer a support program for new patients starting PD, then provide regular monitoring and medical evaluation by continuing to meet with patients during monthly visits and clinics held Mondays and Thursdays at Mount Sinai's B1 Dialysis Unit. In an ongoing effort to provide patients with the best possible care, we are currently expanding our therapy options by developing a new home program for hemodialysis.

By combining the newest technology, convenient scheduling, and a compassionate staff, the Home Peritoneal Dialysis Program strives to provide its patients with the highest quality of dialysis care.
