The purpose of this research study is to understand the influence of social factors and blood-based biomarkers in older Asian American adults across their cognitive status, including Alzheimer’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease-related dementias (AD/ADRD). Social factors involve the context of behavioral, cultural, social, and environmental factors. Our study team will translate and adapt social factor assessments, questionnaires, and tests of memory and thinking in English and Chinese to evaluate older Asian American adults. The blood draw(s) will help identify biomarkers (for instance, proteins) indicated in AD/ADRD. The study will help with further understanding of AD/ADRD outcomes in older Asian American adults.
