Mount Sinai Health System’s Assurance and Compliance Services

The Assurance and Compliance Services Department at Mount Sinai Health System for Mount Sinai’s ACOs (Mount Sinai Care, LLC & MSHP ACO, LLC) supports the Institution’s commitment to legal and ethical conduct by all faculty and staff.

The Compliance office works collaboratively with ACO partners to ensure all faculty and staff are educated on the ACOs’ Code of Conduct and other relevant federal, state and regulatory laws that govern our practices in an effort to prevent and detect illegal and/or unethical behavior.

Reporting of Violations

All staff are required to come forward with any information regarding an actual or possible violation of the Code of Conduct, institutional policy, or any federal and states laws or regulations, and cooperate fully in the investigation of any alleged violation. Members of the faculty and staff should report any concerns to the Office of Compliance as soon as they are aware of any possible violations.

Reports should be made either in person, by telephone or in writing to any of the following:

  • Your supervisor (if applicable)
  • The Mount Sinai Compliance Hotline: 1-800-853-9212 available (24 hours a day, 7 days, including holidays) to all staff to discuss concerns about possible violations of the law or institutional policy. Callers can remain anonymous and there shall be no reprisals for good faith reporting of actual or possible violations of the Code.
