Yelena Globina, MD, MPH, is Medical Director of the Staten Island clinical center for the Selikoff Centers for Occupational Health, the clinical core of the Department of Environmental Medicine and Public Health at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.  She also serves as Assistant Clinical Professor within the department.

Dr. Globina is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of work-related injuries and illnesses. She has significant experience in the treatment and care coordination of World Trade Center Health Program patients with conditions related to exposures from working at Ground Zero, including upper and lower respiratory tract conditions, gastrointestinal disorders, obstructive sleep apnea, mental health conditions, and cancers. Dr. Globina has experience managing medical surveillance programs for diverse worker populations across industries, and has expertise in the evaluation of occupational and environmental exposures, such as heavy metal exposure. 

She is member of the New York Occupational and Environmental Medical Association, the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and the Medical Society of New York.
