About Me

Sarah King is a PhD student in Neuroscience in the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Sarah is a member of the Neuroimaging of Addiction and Related Conditions (NARC) lab under Rita Goldstein, and her research focuses on studying human brain structure and functioning in addiction through multimodal neuroimaging.

Sarah graduated from Vassar College in 2016 with a BA in Neuroscience & Behavior. Between 2016 and 2018, she completed a post baccalaureate fellowship at the National Institutes of Health with Carlo Pierpaoli in the Quantitative Medical Imaging Section, where she studied the pathology of traumatic brain injury using diffusion tensor imaging and histology.
