Sabina Lim, MD MPH is the Vice-President and Chief of Strategy, Behavioral Health for the Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS), and Professor of Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (ISMMS).  Dr. Lim graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.S. in Biology, received her M.D. from SUNY at Buffalo School of Medicine, and her M.P.H. from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.  She completed her psychiatry residency training at Yale University Department of Psychiatry, and held various clinical and administrative positions at Yale, including Executive Director of Yale-New Haven Psychiatric Hospital.  She joined Mount Sinai Hospital in 2013 as Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs for the Department of Psychiatry, became System Chief of Clinical Operations of MSHS Behavioral Health services in 2014, and was appointed to her current roles in 2015. 

Dr. Lim oversees the clinical, financial and administrative performance of the Behavioral Health services across MSHS, which includes over 350 inpatient behavioral health beds and 60 outpatient clinics/specialty programs (including the largest Opioid Treatment Program in the country), with over 1 million ambulatory visits annually.  She is also the primary lead in population health/risk-based pilots and initiatives for behavioral health populations within MSHS.  Dr. Lim has held numerous appointed leadership and advisory positions, including the Connecticut Behavioral Health Partnership Oversight Council, the American Psychiatric Association, and the New York State Value-Based Payment Advisory Councils.  She has presented regionally and nationally on new behavioral health care delivery models, behavioral health integration, and the opioid epidemic.  Dr. Lim has been awarded several awards and honors, including Distinguished Laughlin Fellow at the Yale University Department of Psychiatry, and the Healthcare Innovator Award by the Institute of Community Living for building innovative programs that foster integration and collaboration between academic medical centers and community organizations.
