Leigh Rosen, MD, is a board certified obstetrician-gynecologist and gynecologic surgeon in the Division of Minimally Invasive Surgery and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. With a focus on minimally invasive surgery, Dr. Rosen specializes in the laparoscopic, robotic, and hysteroscopic management of fibroids, ovarian cysts, polyps, uterine anomalies, endometriosis, and chronic pelvic pain.
Dr. Rosen completed her undergraduate education at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She went on to earn her medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology and her subspecialty training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.
Throughout her career, Dr. Rosen has distinguished herself as a clinician and researcher. She has presented numerous scientific papers at national meetings, and has authored peer-reviewed publications on endometriosis, fibroids, and gynecological surgery.
Dr. Rosen is an active member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) and The Society of Gynecologic Surgeons (SGS).
