Grace Mosley

About Me

Grace graduated cum laude from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and a Minor in Philosophy. Currently, she is an MD-PhD student in the Neuroscience MTA, working in the lab of James Iatridis in the Department of Orthopaedics. Her research focuses on sex differences in the progression from intervertebral disc degeneration to chronic low back pain.

 

Outside of research, Grace is a Senior Coordinating TA for the medical school's Structures course, for which she was awarded the Institute of Medical Education's Medical Student Excellence in Teaching Award in 2019. She is an avid distance runner, completing the NYC marathon three times, and plays the surdo in the Brazillian samba-reggae band Fogo Azul.
