Dr. Tsaousides is a rehabilitation neuropsychologist and assistant professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine and a licensed psychologist in the state of New York. He specializes in neuropsychological assessments, cognitive remediation, and psychotherapy for a range of cognitive and emotional difficulties. Dr. Tsaousides employs evidence-based, innovative, goal-oriented treatment approaches to enhance cognitive and emotional functioning, and to improve self-awareness and interpersonal skills.
Dr. Tsaousides is a co-investigator in the Mount Sinai TBI Model Systems.
Dr. Tsaousides received his doctorate in counseling psychology at the University at Albany, State University of New York, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology and rehabilitation research at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
Dr. Tsaousides is involved in research focused on improving cognitive and psychosocial functioning following traumatic brain injury (TBI). He is currently involved in a study assessing the effectiveness of videoconference to delivering a group intervention to individuals with TBI.
