About Me

Dr. Philip Rabito is a Mount Sinai trained endocrinologist practicing on the upper east side of Manhattan. He is an assistant clinical professor of medicine at the Mount Sinai Medical School, and Co-Director of the division of endocrinology and metabolism, as well as director of nutrition services at Elmhurst Hospital Center. He holds board certifications from The American Board of Internal Medicine, Endocrinology and Metabolism, The American Board of Nutrition Support Physicians and The National Lipid Association. Dr Rabito has been published in articles and book chapters on the topics of nutrition, fitness and diabetes. Dr. Rabito treats general hormonal disorders including thyroid disease, diabetes, pre-diabetes, cholesterol  disorders, low testosterone, osteoporosis, polycystic ovary disease, hair loss, pituitary and adrenal disorders. Dr Rabito also has a particular focus on weight loss, general nutrition, fitness and wellness. After analysis of a full panel of nutritional and hormonal blood tests, he aggressively repletes deficient hormones and vitamins as needed, and helps patients adjust their diet and exercise habits to avoid and treat chronic conditions, control weight, and optimize energy levels and overall fitness for his patients.
