- Dr. Dweck, a native New Yorker and Princeton University graduate, has practiced in Brooklyn since 1997. Prior to joining Mount Sinai Brooklyn Heights, Dr. Dweck served as Director of Oculoplastic Surgery, Vice Chair and Program Director in the Department of Ophthalmology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. She is an associate physician with Icahn Medical School at Mount Sinai and she is affiliated with UHB at Long Island College Hospital. Her particular areas of interest include eyelid and tearing problems and surgery in both children and adults.
Dr. Dweck is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, New York State Ophthalmological Society, National Medical Association and American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Dweck is a board member of the New York State Board of Medicine.
Among numerous honors and awards, US News and World Report has listed her annually since its “Top Doctor” inaugural listing in 2011. She has been named yearly in Castle Connolly “New York Metro Best Doctors” issues since 2000. The New York Times Magazine has included her on an annual basis in their "New York Super Doctors" since 2009.
Physicians and scientists on the faculty of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai often interact with pharmaceutical, device and biotechnology companies to improve patient care, develop new therapies and achieve scientific breakthroughs. In order to promote an ethical and transparent environment for conducting research, providing clinical care and teaching, Mount Sinai requires that salaried faculty inform the School of their relationships with such companies.
