Biography
- Adam R. Kolker, M.D., F.A.C.S., F.A.A.P. is an aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgeon specializing in cosmetic surgery of the breast, body, and face, and is an Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery at Mount Sinai. Dr. Kolker is board-certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Kolker completed the accelerated Six-Year Biomedical Education Program at Union College and Albany Medical College, satisfying an undergraduate concentration in Fine Arts. Dr. Kolker subsequently completed full residency training in both Surgery and in Plastic Surgery, the latter under the tutelage of Drs. Robert Goldwyn, Joseph Upton, Sumner Slavin, and John Mulliken at Harvard Medical School. He was also a Fellow in Microsurgery Research at New York University’s Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery, and served as Fellow in Craniofacial Surgery with Mr. Anthony Holmes at the Royal Children’s Hospital of the University of Melbourne, Australia.
The scope of Dr. Kolker’s clinical practice encompasses both adult and pediatric plastic surgery. In addition to his New York City practice, Dr. Kolker regularly travels to communities in third-world countries with the Operation Smile organization, providing surgery to babies and children with cleft and craniofacial deformities, as well as education to local physicians to promote sustainable healthcare for children for years to come.
