Rehabilitation and Human Performance Telemedicine Appointments

At Mount Sinai’s Department of Rehabilitation and Human Performance, we believe that a commute should never get between you and your medical care. That is why we offer telemedicine/video appointments allowing you to connect with your provider from the comfort and safety of your home. In our efforts to maximize the patient experience and efficiency during this heightened alert about COVID-19, we strongly recommend using this service, as it is extremely helpful with reducing your potential risk of exposure.

Our office can assist you with follow-up and new patient appointments. During our video visits, we review your health history and images, order referrals to physical therapy, prescribe or adjust medication, and discuss treatment options for further care.

We use electronic information and telecommunication technologies to enhance access for providers, offering real-time virtual visits and remote patient monitoring, which reduce travel time and the need for emergency department visits.

If you would like to request a telemedicine visit, please email us at RehabMedFPA@mountsinai.org or call us at 212-241-6321 to speak to one of our staff members. If you are a current patient registered with a MyMountSinai account, you can request an appointment through MyMountSinai.
