Dr. Amie Kim is dual board certified in Sports Medicine and Emergency Medicine. She is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel and in the Department of Rehabilitation Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Kim currently works as a player's physician for the NFL Jets in concussion and trauma evaluations and the NBA including the NBA All-Stars weekend. She has worked in operational planning for the TCS New York City Marathon and as a medical provider for Hofstra University, the Ironman Triathalon, and Public School Athletic League NYC all-star events. Dr. Kim’s primary interest is a collaborative patient care experience from the Emergency Department into the post-ED sports medicine office. She believes interdisciplinary medicine transforms patient experiences and creates new solutions in musculoskeletal medicine and services. Integrating the excellence of both departments provides immediate care from day of injury.       Her clinical interests include:
  • all non-operative fracture management
  • an-office x-ray, bracing, splinting, and casting
  • diagnostic and therapeutic musculoskeletal ultrasound
  • visualized procedures including regenerative medicine and advanced biologics such as platelet rich plasma (PRP), hyaluronic acid (HA), and prolotherapy
  • biomechanical analysis and exercise science skills
  • additional on-site facilities include fluoroscopy, occupational and physical therapy, human performance lab, and expedited MRI
Please see Publications and Presentations for Dr. Kim’s academic interests.
