Rehabilitation Medicine

Physicians specialty-trained in physical medicine and rehabilitation provide continuing care to patients discharged from the Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Center’s inpatient units. They also address the medical needs of people with disabilities who received inpatient medical rehabilitation elsewhere or have new or long-term disabling conditions that have not required hospitalization.
