Collaborative, Comprehensive Care

As part of an alliance in Pediatrics between Mount Sinai and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), we offer the newest treatments and patient and family-centric care for congenital, and acquired heart disease through joint expertise.

Our interdisciplinary team works closely with your referring physician to evaluate your child's condition. From there, we develop a comprehensive treatment plan. Our success in treating patients with a broad range of heart conditions centers on the collaboration of an exceptional team comprising:

  • Pediatric cardiologists
  • Pediatric cardiothoracic surgeons
  • Pediatric cardiac anesthesiologists
  • Pediatric physician's assistants
  • Advanced Practice Nurses
  • Pediatric cardiac sonographers
  • Social workers
  • Child life specialist

The Children’s Heart Center team combines resources of the Division of Pediatric Cardiology, Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery, and Mount Sinai Heart Hospital, with the expertise of the Cardiac Center at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Our pediatric experts provide the full spectrum of cardiac care including clinical cardiology, diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, and cardiac surgical care treatments for congenital and acquired pediatric heart diseases.
