Payment for International Medical Services
Once a treatment plan is established for your medical care, the International Services Department will send you a cost estimate letter that breaks down the charges. The Mount Sinai Medical Center accepts cash, United States bank certified checks, credit cards, and wire transfers. A patient care coordinator provides patients with proper instructions to arrange for the payment of choice.
Payment in full is expected prior to the beginning of treatment. For patients being sponsored by a consulate, embassy, or foreign agency, we require a guarantee letter prior to admittance into our institution. Once payment in full is received, we will send the patient confirmation of payment and a letter of financial clearance.
