Children’s Heart Center

We offer state-of-the-art diagnosis and comprehensive, family-centered treatment. Our pediatric cardiologists have experience in diagnosing and treating congenital heart disease and specialize in complex and high-risk cases.

Patients receive superb postoperative care in our standalone Pediatric Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit — the only one of its kind in New York State. In addition, we are one of only two active pediatric heart transplant centers in the state of New York. Learn more

An alliance between Mount Sinai and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), offers access to the latest in advanced diagnostic and treatment options and provides personalized care for congenital and acquired heart disease. Our interdisciplinary team provides continuous care from before birth through adulthood.

We treat birth defects, specifically heart abnormalities, at the earliest point of detection – usually before birth in an effort to optimize care. After delivery, our specialized pediatric cardiologists, intensive care physicians, and cardiothoracic surgery teams are there to ensure the best possible outcome and provide care as needed.
