Dr. Andrew Hecht: “Experts Like Tiger Woods' Chances After Back Surgery”

Tiger Woods’ spine was once again in the spotlight, which meant Monday microdiscectomy surgery to fix a pinched nerve in his back, a procedure that knocks him out of next week’s Masters. “Full recovery is likely,” said Andrew Hecht, MD, Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery, and Co-Chair of Spine Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
