
Vestibular and Balance Disorders Program
The Vestibular and Balance Disorders Program provides comprehensive treatment for clients with dizziness or balance problems that result from inner ear dysfunction or central nervous system pathology, including post-traumatic vertigo. Some of the defining characteristics of the program:
- We conduct a comprehensive evaluation to determine the best course of treatment
- Specially trained physical therapists use manual techniques and exercise to help clients improve balance, reduce symptoms of dizziness, improve coordination and increase overall activity levels
- State-of-the art rehabilitative equipment is used
- Open and regular communication with the referring physician is emphasized
- The patient and therapist together set functional goals, to better achieve desired results
