Child Behavioral Health and Science Services

Combining clinical skill and cutting-edge research, Mount Sinai offers a variety of programs and centers to evaluate and treat children and adolescents with a range of mental health conditions.

Outpatient Services

Center for ADHD and Related Disorders offers specialized care for children, adolescents, and adults with Attention-deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, and related conditions.

Child, Adolescent and Family Services provides outpatient clinic-based care for children and adolescents up to age18 with a variety of mental health conditions, as well as their families. A satellite of this clinic operates within the general pediatric clinic.

Eating and Weight Disorders Program provides children, adolescents, and adults with innovative care for anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and obesity.

Learning and Development Center provides comprehensive neuropsychological assessments and care for children and adults with learning disabilities.

Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders Program offers comprehensive clinical assessments and multidisciplinary treatments for patients and families in need.

Pediatric Mood and Anxiety Disorders Program cares for children and adolescents with a range of mood and anxiety disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, and PTSD.

Seaver Autism Center for Research and Treatment provides specialized, evidence-based Autism treatment for very young children, high-functioning adults, and individuals considered most challenging to diagnose and difficult to treat.

Tics and Tourette’s Clinical and Research Program treats children and adults with tics and Tourette’s disorder and conducts research to better understand these conditions.

Acute Care

Inpatient Services for Children and Adolescents comprises two units (one for children and one for adolescents) offering evaluations and treatments for the spectrum of acute emotional and behavioral problems.

Emergency Services for Children and Adolescents are provided in consultation with both the Psychiatric emergency room and the Pediatric emergency room, depending on the age of the child.

Consultation Services

Pediatric psychiatry consultation services provide consultation to the pediatric ambulatory care (emergency room), pediatric inpatient, and general pediatrics outpatient programs.
