Epilepsy
The Mount Sinai Epilepsy Center offers state-of-the-art care, outpatient consultation, medication management, and treatment for patients with epilepsy.
Directed by Lara V. Marcuse, MD, and Madeline C. Fields, MD, the Mount Sinai Epilepsy Center has an epilepsy monitoring unit for in-patient evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment. Outpatients can be outfitted with small portable monitors which can be taken home for several nights and returned for analysis. The Center has a computer network that allows doctors to access a patient’s electroencephalography (EEG) remotely.
In addition to patient care, the Center strives to educate the community about epilepsy and support patients with epilepsy and their families.
The Epilepsy Center is located at 1468 Madison Avenue at 100th Street on the Upper East Side of New York City. Please call us at 212-241-2627 to make an appointment.
