In addition to providing well-proven diagnostic and treatment techniques, the Mount Sinai Cognitive Health Center offers access to emerging therapies through our ongoing involvement with a variety of clinical trials. For patients and their families who have already seen a doctor and are still frustrated with the progression of their illness and want access to new options, we offer cutting-edge treatments in the form of rapidly-accessed clinical trials.
As an integrated partner of the Mount Sinai Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC), we provide patients with the opportunity to rapidly access promising treatments in the form of clinical research trials to explore promising new medications. As a unit of the Friedman Brain Institute, we facilitate a wide range of cognitive research programs involving emerging technologies (such as advanced brain imaging) to more comprehensively probe the underlying causes of cognitive and related neuropsychiatric disorders. Our goal is to translate those insights into effective treatments that will improve the lives of those suffering from cognitive disorders.
