About the Center for Sleep Medicine
Sleep disorders disturb millions of people and can lead to serious consequences: high blood pressure and cardiovascular disease, work and family difficulties, accidents, and multiple other illnesses. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), the most common sleep disorder, is likely to occur in men, those who are obese, and the middle-aged, but can affect anyone at any age.
Mount Sinai’s Center for Sleep Medicine is a comprehensive program dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of all aspects of sleep pathology including sleep-related breathing disorders (including OSA), insomnia, restless leg syndrome, narcolepsy, and circadian rhythm disorders. The care we provide includes mechanical (CPAP, BiPAP), surgical, dental, and pharmacologic therapies.
At the Center for Sleep Medicine, our experts provide patients of all ages with high quality diagnostic and treatments services, delivered with compassion and personal attention. Our team is committed to helping you achieve restful sleep.
