The Mount Sinai Kidney Center provides convenient dialysis therapy for patients with kidney (renal) failure, also called end-stage renal disease (ESRD). Our patients receive comprehensive and compassionate dialysis care from a dedicated team of physicians who are leading experts in dialysis, registered nurses and patient care technicians certified in dialysis, social workers, and dietitians. Patients also have access to the full range of state-of-the-art services available at the Mount Sinai Medical Center, one of the nation's premier medical centers, including vascular surgery, urology, interventional radiology, diabetes and high blood pressure (hypertension) management programs, and transplant surgery.
Mount Sinai's acute and chronic dialysis service includes hemodialysis centers for inpatients and outpatients and peritoneal dialysis that can be performed at home. Transient hemodialysis services can also be arranged for travelers visiting New York City.
