
World Trade Center Health Program
The WTC Health Program at Mount Sinai Medical Center offers free comprehensive and confidential medical examinations, ambulatory and inpatient treatment and benefit counseling services to WTC responders who participated in rescue, recovery and clean-up efforts after the September 11, 2001, disaster.
As of July 1, 2011, the program is part of the federally funded WTC Health Program, created through the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act and administered by the CDC and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). Mount Sinai is coordinator of the Consortium of Centers of Excellence, each center making the following services available at no cost to responders. Read more
