The Susan and Leonard Feinstein Inflammatory Bowel Disease Clinical Center
At the Susan and Leonard Feinstein Inflammatory Bowel Disease Clinical Center, our patients receive the A-to-Z in services, benefiting from our multidisciplinary team of pediatric gastroenterologists, nurse practitioners, social workers, nutritionists and child life specialists. We provide diagnostic evaluations, second opinions and ongoing services to help families support children living with IBD.
As part of the Susan and Leonard Feinstein Inflammatory Bowel Disease Clinical Center, our Children’s IBD program is one of the largest in the nation. Children and young adults from across the country and around the world visit the Center seeking innovative, advanced, family-centered care from our experts.
The Center, which combines The Mount Sinai Hospital’s work on IBD in children with the adult IBD program, represents the Hospital’s deep commitment to the mission of understanding, treating and mastering IBD. With the adult and pediatric programs under one roof, the Center creates an unprecedented opportunity for comprehensive research and collaboration in the field. The Center also helps transition children seamlessly into the adult IBD program at the appropriate time.
No matter how seriously your child is affected, our focus remains the same: to develop a personalized treatment plan to help the young patient with IBD lead a normal, productive life.
