Pioneers and Leaders in the Field

Many of the diagnostic tools and treatments routinely used to care for allergic disorders today have been developed or refined by physicians in the Department of Pediatric Allergy & Immunology at The Mount Sinai Health System. Every day of the year, the observations we make while treating children with allergies shape questions that then are tested through our research.

The outcomes from this research then guide the care we provide to individual patients. The result is that our patients receive tomorrow’s medicine today. In addition, through publication of our findings in peer-reviewed medical journals, we are able to share our research with physicians worldwide.
