Your Ruttenberg Clinical Team
At Ruttenberg you will be cared for by a team of health professionals led by either an oncologist or hematologist who specializes in your form of cancer or blood disorder. Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Registered Nurses, and an on-site pharmacist, all with specialized training in oncology/hematology, will work with you on a day-to-day basis to carry out the plan of care that you and your physician have agreed upon. Physical therapists (who will help you maintain a healthy level of activity during your treatment), social workers, and nutritionists, all of whom are specially trained in cancer treatment, will round out your clinical care team.
You Are the Most Important Member of Your Team
While it’s easy for us to say that we value you as a person, respect your time, and recognize the personal hardships that may accompany your treatment, we know that actions speak louder than words. If you ever feel that our actions do not measure up to our words, please let us know.
