Conference on Child Abuse and Neglect (October 3)
and Sex Trafficking of Minors in the U.S. (October 4)
On October 3 and 4, Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center will host a conference on two critical issues in child and adolescent well-being: child abuse and neglect and sex trafficking of minors. This conference will highlight findings in forthcoming Institute of Medicine reports, The Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Trafficking of Minors and Understanding Child Abuse and Neglect, and focus on awareness, identification, education, and practical strategies. It will provide opportunities for collaboration with the hopes of sharing and creating fresh resources for those serving children and adolescents.
