"Can CBD Really Do All That?" - Moises Velasquez-Manoff

Yasmin Hurd, PhD, director of the Addiction Institute at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai discusses her research regarding CBD and opioid addiction. Dr. Hurd explains that she’s not sure why but suspects that because CBD reduces anxiety and craving (which are major triggers of opioid relapse) CBD helps patients cease opioids. According to Dr. Hurd, “The brain is about a symphony, and CBD can bring the entire symphony into harmony.”
