Nell and Chris speak with Philip Landrigan, MD, MSc, professor of environmental medicine and public health and the dean for global health at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, about the links between toxic chemicals in the environment and disease in children. "The incidence of childhood cancer has been rising steadily. We have seen approximately a 40 percent increase in the incidence of childhood cancer. We have connected certain cancers to chemicals in our environment," Dr. Landrigan said.
