Network Oversight Program
The Network Oversight program monitors all off-campus arrangements developed by Mount Sinai Health System and Mount Sinai Hospital Business Development. These arrangements include but are not limited to:
- License and services agreements
- Acquired practices
- Proposed acquisitions
Off-campus arrangements are monitored for regulatory compliance with all government agencies including OIG, HHS, OSHA and CMS. These goals are accomplished by providing on-going site visit assessments, performing coding and documentation review services, educational feedback and ensuring all contract arrangements are compliant with Stark and Anti-kickback Statutes.
The Network Compliance Department works closely with the HIPAA and Environmental Health and Safety Departments for optimal assistance with all identified issues.
