Yang Yang, PhD, is Assistant Professor of Radiology at the Translational and Molecular Imaging Institute (TMII) at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York. His research is focused on fast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technique development and its translational/clinical applications. Dr. Yang was trained in Biomedical Engineering at University of Virginia on MRI physics, novel pulse sequence development and advanced image reconstruction for fast imaging on cardiac MRI. Dr. Yang got his BSE and MSE degrees from Biomedical Engineering at Xi'an Jiaotong University, China on medical device and robotics. More information can be found in Dr. Yang's lab website.
