Yael Kufert, MD is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She is an attending physician on the pediatric consultation-liaison psychiatry service at Mount Sinai Hospital, and treats patients in the Student and Trainee Mental Health Program at the Icahn School of Medicine.
Dr. Kufert graduated from medical school at Tel Aviv University before completing an internship at Sheba Medical Center. She completed her psychiatry residency at Mount Sinai St. Luke's-Roosevelt (now Morningside) and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital.
