Tanya Madrid, MD is a board-certified primary care doctor at Mount Sinai Doctors, seeing patients Tuesday – Thursday in Greenwich Village. She was awarded her medical degree from New York University’s School of Medicine and completed two residencies in Internal Medicine at New York University Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital Center. Prior to joining Mount Sinai Doctors, she worked in in underserved communities and cared for lower income patients with chronic diseases, such as diabetes, obesity, heart disease, anxiety, depression, and asthma. Dr. Madrid currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, training medical residents in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. She lives with her husband and two children in New York City. Dr. Madrid knows basic Spanish.
