Dr. Wiesel completed her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Yeshiva University, Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She completed her internship at Weill Cornell Medical Center/New York-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City and postdoctoral fellowship at North Shore Long Island Jewish Medical Center (now Northwell Health). She is currently an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai where she is the Director of the cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) track within the Psychiatry Resident Education Program.  Dr. Wiesel is also an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Weill Cornell Medical College where she is involved in the training of psychiatry residents. She is licensed in New York and New Jersey.

Dr. Wiesel specializes in anxiety disorders, BDD, OCD and related disorders. Dr. Wiesel uses strategies from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), including exposure and response prevention (ERP), mindfulness and acceptance-based therapies and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)
