Tali Czarnowicki, MD, is Director of Outpatient Dermatology at Mount Sinai Queens and an Associate Professor of Dermatology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She earned her medical degree with honors from the Technion—Israel Institute of Technology before completing a residency in dermatology at the Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem. Dr. Czarnowicki was then appointed an attending associate physician at Rockefeller University in New York City, where she conducted research in investigative dermatology and earned a Master’s degree in Medical Sciences.
Dr. Czarnowicki is passionate about researching and treating inflammatory skin diseases like eczema, psoriasis, vitiligo, and alopecia—combining dermatology research with practice to discover underlying skin diseases and optimize patient care. She believes that successfully treating these can dramatically improve quality of life among her patients, and she takes special care to listen to their concerns and explain their care in plain language. Dr. Czarnowicki is closely involved in taking lessons learned in medical research and transferring these to applications into patient care. She is widely published, including numerous studies on eczema and psoriasis.
