He then went on to complete an internship at North Shore University Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, New York in 1982. From 1983-1985, he undertook a residency in ophthalmology at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. After completing his education, Dr. Perrone opened his private practice in Brooklyn and Queens. He has been serving these communities since 1985.
