He earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine before completing residency training and fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. He went on to complete a fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology at Columbia University. He returned to Mount Sinai Beth Israel in 2006, where he is Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology.
