Ruby J. Lien, MD is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Attending Radiologist at Mount Sinai Queens and Mount Sinai Brooklyn Heights. She is board certified in diagnostic radiology with a certificate of added qualification in neuroradiology. She received her medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and went on to complete a residency program in radiology at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s-Mount Sinai West. She continued her interest in neuroradiology by completing fellowship subspecialty training at Mount Sinai Hospital where she became highly skilled in advanced imaging interpretation and the use of cutting-edge MRI technology. Dr. Lien has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, and she has presented at prominent national and international radiology meetings. While a resident, she received the coveted RSNA Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research Award, which recognizes outstanding residents and fellows in radiologic research. Her clinical focus includes a full spectrum of brain, head and neck, and spinal disorders including stroke, demyelinating disease, tumors, spinal degenerative disease and paranasal sinus disease. She is a senior member of the American Society of Neuroradiology, and also holds membership in the American Society of Spine Radiology, American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society and New York Roentgen Society.
