Ronen Arnon, MD is Professor of Pediatrics and Hepatology and Medical Director in the Division of Pediatric Hepatology in the Jack and Lucy Clark Department of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital and Mount Sinai’s Recanati/Miller Transplantation Institute.
He received his medical degree from Sackler School of Medicine and completed his pediatric internship at Beilinson Hospital. He completed his pediatric residency at Schneider Children's Medical Center, pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons and his pediatric hepatology fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Arnon’s areas of clinical focus include Acute and Chronic Liver Failure, Biliary Atresia, Cirrhosis, Hepatitis B and C, Liver Failure/Liver Transplantation and Metabolic Liver Disease.
Dr. Arnon has published more than 80 peer review manuscripts on various aspects of pediatric liver disease.
In 2020, an outpatient clinic dedicated to caring for children with viral hepatitis B,C was established. The clinic offers comprehensive management of HBV and HCV infections, from initial workup to treatment and monitoring. In addition, access to clinical trials , psychological support and education is offered to the patients and their families.
