Richard S. Mizuguchi, MD is a board-certified dermatologist and hair transplant surgeon at Mount Sinai Doctors, seeing patients Mondays and Fridays in the Financial District. Trained in Michigan and Louisiana, he is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. After majoring Molecular Genetics at the University of Pennsylvania and graduating Cum Laude, he was awarded his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine and completed his residency in Dermatology at Wayne State University, where he served as Chief Resident. Prior to joining Mount Sinai Doctors, he served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Northwestern University and Columbia University. Since 2002, he has served as the Clinical Instructor of Dermatology at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s Hospital and Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital. Dr. Mizuguchi is also on the editorial board of Cutis. He has extensive experience in cosmetic dermatology, including, chemical peels, Botox, and injectable fillers, such as Juvederm and Restylane, as well as, hair restoration surgery and diseases of the hair. Dr. Mizuguchi is fluent in Japanese.
