Orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist, Dr Paul Tomaszewski graduated from Boston College with a degree in Biochemistry. He then attended Georgetown University School of Medicine and graduated cum laude with a Medical Degree as well as a master’s degree in Physiology and Biophysics. Dr. Tomaszewski completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Yale New Haven Hospital, followed by additional fellowship training in sports medicine and arthroscopy at Medstar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, MD.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Tomaszewski has team coverage experience at the high school, collegiate and professional levels, including the Baltimore Ravens, Washington Wizards, Towson University, and Loyola University.
On the academic front, Dr. Paul Tomaszewski is a member of Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA). He is also a proud member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
As a team physician for several athletic groups, Dr. Tomaszewski is highly experienced at treating athletes and active individuals at all levels. He brings evidence from the latest medical research and the most innovative treatments to each patient, creating a prompt and optimal recovery.
Beyond the walls of the hospital, Dr. Tomaszewski enjoys spending time with his wife and three young children. He enjoys unwinding on the golf course, on the ski slopes or watching his kids play youth sports.
