Dr. Noura Abul-Husn, M.D., Ph.D. is Associate Professor of Medicine and of Genetics and Genomic Sciences at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She is the Founding Chief of the Division of Genomic Medicine in the Department of Medicine, and Clinical Director of the Institute for Genomic Health. Dr. Abul-Husn is a physician-scientist whose research program focuses on innovative genomic applications in clinical care and therapeutic discovery. She has expertise in leveraging electronic health records and genomics to improve the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease. Her work has been published in leading journals, including Science, Cell, and the New England Journal of Medicine. Her goal is to develop evidence-based and scalable solutions to integrate genomics into clinical care and drive the equitable delivery of genomic medicine.

Dr. Abul-Husn has a B.Sc. Honors in Life Sciences and M.Sc. in Pharmacology from Queen’s University in Canada. She completed her M.D., Ph.D., and residency in Internal Medicine and Medical Genetics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Genetics.
