Dr. Gaisa is a professor of medicine in the division of infectious diseases. His expertise is in men's health, sexual health, HIV treatment and prevention as well as anogenital HPV infection. He directs the Mount Sinai Anal Dysplasia program and is an expert in high-resolution anoscopy (HRA) and treatment of anogenital condylomata (warts) and high-grade dysplastic (precancerous) lesions involving anal canal and perianal skin.
