About Me

Dr. Kelly is an Assistant Professor of Foot and Ankle Surgery at Mount Sinai specializing in foot and ankle disorders for patients 16 years of age and older.

Prior to medical school Dr. Kelly received her PhD in physiology and biophysics from Boston University School of Medicine researching cellular metabolism and the effects of exercise.  She continued her work as a post-doctoral fellow at Boston University and then at Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen, Denmark. She then began her medical training at University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry where she completed her medical degree with a special focus in medical education.  She remained at the University of Rochester for residency where she completed the research track.  She then completed a foot and ankle fellowship at the University of California at Davis/Reno Orthopaedic Clinic.

Her unique background of both clinical and basic science research has resulted in a numerous publications in both the basic science and orthopaedic literature and has presented her work at both national and international meetings. In addition, she is also involved with the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society serving on the health policy and humanitarian committees and a member of the Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society.
